ROLUL MASAJULUI N RECUPERAREA POSTTRAUMATICCoordonator: Prof. Univ. Dr. Veronica B lteanu Autor: Prac Sergiu Universitatea ,,Alexandru Ioan Cuza , Iai Facultatea de Educaie Fizic i Sport Specializarea: Master-Kinetoterapia n traumatologia sportiv Contact: Telefon: 0767180091, email: [email protected]

    Cuvinte-cheie: recuperare, traumatism, durere, sechele.

RezumatLucrarea de fa are ca scop principal prezentarea importanei masajului i a kinetoterapiei n ceea ce

privete recuperarea sechelelor posttraumatice specifice activitii sportive, ct i a activitii omului obinuit.

n ceea ce privete testele i metodele folosite,am utilizat scala analog- vizual pentru detrminarea durerii iam realizat testingul articular i muscular, n vederea stabilirii restandului funcional.

THE ROLE OF MASSAGE IN THE POSTTRAUMATIC RECOVERYCoordinator: Prof. Univ. Dr. Veronica B lteanu Author: Prac Sergiu University ,,Alexandru Ioan Cuza , Iai Faculty of Physical Education and Sport

Specialization Master- Physical Therapy in Sports Traumatology

Keywords: recovery, trauma, pain, sequels.AbstractThe purpose of the present work is to presenting the main importance of the massage and kinesitherapy in

respect of the recovery of the posttraumatic sequels which are specific to the sports activity and ordinary humanactivity, too.

The work hypothesis refers to the following conjecture: If the therapeutic massage procedures had appliedconscientiously, with sense of responsibility, individualized and adapted to each individual patient, then the processof recovery would have been facilitated and get positive results in a shorter time.

In terms of the tests and methods, I used the visual-analog scale for pain detrmination and I realized thearticular and muscular testing, to establish functional restand.

The research subjects were diagnosed with different diseases and the introduction of the massage in therehabilitation program has led to beneficial effects regarding to the improvement of the recovery process: thereduction of pain and muscle contracture, the circulation improving and the improving of the mental and physicalcondition.

Any injury, so common to the ordinary man, but mostly to athletes, leads to installation of sequels requiringrecovery for healing. In this sense the kinesitherapy represent the basic therapy thanks to the specific methods andmeans. At the same time it is necessary to introduce the massage as a adjunctive therapy, thanks to the beneficialeffects obtained.

The research results highlight the main role played by massage manoeuvres regarding to the recovery of the posttraumatic sequels. Firstly it obtain a physical and mental relaxation and so the recovery process is facilitated.,.Secondly the massage procedures prevent the worsening of the symptoms thanks to the local circulation improvingand to the muscle contractures countering.

In conclusion the hypothesis formulated has been confirmed, so I can say that the importance of massage inthe rehabilitation of posttraumatic sequelae resulting from the specific effects.
