    Obiectivele cursului:

    Cursul i seminarul i propun s prezinte cadrul general i elementeleparticulare specifice fenomenului urban n Anatolia i n spaiul circumpontic,raportndu-l n permanenla evoluiile n plan religios att din mediul urban,ct i din teritoriu. Accentul este pus pe istoria politic, pe dovezilearhelogice, epigrafice, literare i numismatice, pe cultura, mentalitilecolective i viaa cotidiana populaiilor din spaiul ponto-anatolian.

    Coninutul de baz:

    I. Introducere

    - Elemente definitorii. Condiii topografice i de mediu. Factori de

    dezvoltare urban. Factori de delocalizare. Teritoriul i populaia.

    Constrngerile geografice. Mobilitatea demografic. Medii de interferen.Sincretisme.

    II. Preliminarii: Elemente de urbanism anterioare perioadei elenistice

    - Hattua, Gordion, Sardisul perioadelor lidiani ahemenid
