1.0 Generalitati Incalzirile electrice servesc pentru mentinerea constanta a temperaturii mediului de lucru, pen-tru a face posibil transportul sau depozitarea , respectiv pentru evitarea formarii condensului, inghetarii sau solidificarii.

1.0 General Electric heaters are used to maintain constant temperatures of media to enable transportation or storage and also to avoid condensation forma-tion, freezing or solidifying.

1.1 Domeniu de valabilitate

Aceasta norma este valabila in cadrul rafinariilor Petrom OMV pentru executarea incalzirilor elec-trice functionale pentru conducte, rezervoare cat si cutii de distributie sau cu instrumente,care sunt amplasate in aer liber.

Acest standard poate fi aplicat corespunzator si si pentru alte locatii. Functiile profesionale mentionate in prezenta norma vor fi intelese la genul neutru

1.1 Scope This standard is applicable within Petrom OMV refineries for the construction of ready-for-use electric heating for pipelines, containers as well as switch and instrument boxes situated in out-side locations. This Standard can also be applied for other loca-tion departments. The functional descriptions in this standard are to be regarded as gender-neutral.

1.2 Norme si prescriptii 1.2 Standards and Regulations Impreuna cu prezenta norma se vor respecta dis-pozitiile, normele si directivele valabile in Roma-nia, in varianta lor aflata in vigoare, care sunt mentionate in Anexa.

In conjunction with this Standard, the respective specifications, standards and directives legally applicable in Romania and stated in Annex must be taken into account in their named or currently valid form.

In the event of deviations or conflicts arising between the various specifications, standards and directives and there is no firm definition by this standard, then the strictest formulation is to be applied in each case.

In cazul in care prevederile se exclud reciproc, atunci se va aplica reglementarea prevazuta de legislatia din Romania.

Where they are mutually exclusive, then the Romanian statutory regulations will apply.

Intra in responsabilitatea executantului sa verifice daca prevederile prezentei norme sunt adecvate scopului lucrarii respective. Aplicarea normei nu il degreveaza pe executantde raspunderea pe care o are in calitate de antreprenor profesionist si re-sponsabil.

The contractor will be responsible for checking the appropriateness of this standard for the intended purpose. The application does not relieve the contractor of his responsibility as specialist and independent entrepreneur.

Daca executantul are obiectii cu privire la una dintre prevederile stabilite, el il va informa imediat in scris pe angajator despre acest lucru.

If the contractor has reservations concerning an agreed definition, then he must notify the client of this in writing without delay.

Este obligatia contractorului sa observe reglementarile in vigoare si sa se asigure ca subcontractorii sai procedeaza la fel.

It is the duty of the contractor to observe the valid regulations and to ensure that his subcontractors also observe them.

2.0 INCALZIREA ELECTRICA A CONDUCTELOR, REZERVOARELOR SI A PARTILOR DE INSTALATII

2.0 ELECTRIC HEATING OF PIPES, CONTAINERS AND PLANT COMPONENTS

2.1 Dimensionare generala 2.1 General Design Incalzirea electrica se dimensioneaza astfel, incat sa compenseze numai pierderea de caldura care apare la partile izolate ale instalatiei.

The electric heating is dimensioned so as to only compensate for the heat loss that occurs in the in-sulated plant components.

Situatia locala a partilor de instalatie care se in-calzesc este determinanta pentru masurile de pro-tectie antiexploziva si pentru dimensionarea pute-rii de incalzire (spatiu interior / curenti de aer).

The location of the plant components that are to be heated is the basis for the use of Ex safety measures and for the dimensions of the heating capabilities (internal spaces/outside locations).

Pentru amplasare in aer liber se vor folosi valorile climaterice valabile pentru locatiile Arpechim / Pe-trobrazi pentru temperatura minima si viteza van-tului.

For set-ups in outside locations weather values valid for Arpechim / Petrobrazi locations for mini-mum air temperature and wind speed, applies.

Elementele de deservire, punctele fixe, sabotii de alunecare si suprafetele de sprijin ale partilor de instalatie trebuie sa asigure o conductibilitate ter-mica cat mai redusa, prin forma lor constructiva si datorita izolatiei.

The design and insulation of actuating elements, anchor points, shoes and contact areas are to re-sult in preferably low amounts of heat dissipation.

Incalzirea electrica necesita o executie speciala a izolatiei termice, protejata contra umiditatii, astfel incat sa fie evitata cu siguranta patrunderea umid-itatii. (vezi pct.2.7).

Electric heating requires the heat insulation to have a special type of moisture protection, which will safely prevent moisture penetration. (see point 2.7)

2.2 Proiectarea incalzirii 2.2 Planning the Heating Toate partile instalatiei care se incalzesc se vor marca in diagramele flux PID (conducte si instru-mente) in functie de modul de executie si de cer-intele impuse incalzirii.

All plant components to be heated are to be marked in the PID (piping and instrumentation) flow diagrams to show the construction type and the heating requirements.

Pentru dimensionarea incalzirii electrice se vor anexa planurile conductelor si cele de amplasare, din care sa reiasa traseele si pozitiile conductelor, ale armaturilor, pieselor speciale, etc., precum si dimensiunile conductelor si temperaturile de mentinere a mediului de lucru.

For the electric heating dimensions the pipeline and layout guidelines are provided, on which the run of the pipeline, the form pieces, fittings, spe-cial components, etc as well as the medium range temperature are shown.

Impartirea in diferite circuite de incalzire a partilor de instalatie, care trebuie incalzite la aceeasi temperatura, ramane in general la latitudinea executantului, conform datelor din schemele PID.

The arrangement of the plant components, which are to be heated at equal temperatures in various heating circuits is generally left to the contractor in accordance to the PID information.

2.3 Bazele executiei 2.3 Basic Design Principles Incalzirea conductelor, rezervoarelor, etc. se real-izeaza cu ajutorul cablurilor de incalzire, saltelelor sau asa-numitelor carcase de incalzire.

Heating pipelines, containers, etc. is accom-plished by means of heating cables, heating mats or so-called heating hoods.

Cablurile de incalzire se pozeaza pe elementele conductelor (armaturi) astfel incat sa fie posibila demontarea elementelor, fara deteriorarea sau taierea cablului de incalzire. Fixarea cablului de incalzire se face cu ajutorul unor bratari speciale de montaj.

The heating cables are to run along the pipeline components such as fittings, etc. in such a way that pipeline components can be dismantled with-out damage or cutting off heating cables is possi-ble. The heating cables are fastened using special mounting bands.

Pentru a asigura o distributie uniforma a caldurii spre partile instalatiei si pentru a evita patrunde-rea materialului izolator intre cablul de incalzire si suprafata care se incalzeste, partile de conducte insotite de cabluri de incalzire se invelesc cu folie de aluminiu.

In order to achieve a consistent heat distribution in the plant components and to prevent insulating material from getting in between the heating cables and the surface that is being heated, the pipeline components in which the heating cables run are to be covered with aluminium foil.

Toate cutiile locale de alimentare, masura si re-glare, necesare incalzirii electrice, se vor monta in locuri usor accesibile, si in functie de cerinte vor fi echipate la fata locului.(protectia Ex).

All of the local infeed, measuring and regulator boxes needed for the electric heating are to be mounted at easily accessible positions and are to be equipped according to the needs of the site (Ex protection).

In cazul amplasarii in aer liber, toate cutiile trebuie prevazute cu un acoperis suficient de mare de protectie contra ploii.

All boxes set up in outside locations must be pro-tected by a sufficiently large rain canopy.

Cablurile de alimentare a incalzirilor si conductoa-rele senzorilor de temperatura, se vor introduce in tuburi de protectie, ale caror garnituri permit poza-rea prin mantaua de protectie contra intemperiilor a izolatiei.

The heating (cooling) cables and the sensor lead guides of the infeed, measuring and regulator boxes are to be wrapped in protective hoses, which have connection fittings that allow a safe flow through the insulation's weather protective casing.

2.4 Alegerea cablurilor de incalzire 2.4 Choosing the Heating Cable In privinta materialelor si executiei, cablurile de in-calzire, fittingurile de racordare si mufele trebuie sa corespunda conditiilor de mediu de la locul montarii si cerintelor de incalzire.

The choice of heating cable material and its type of connection fittings and couplings must satisfy the environmental conditions of the site and meet the needs of the heating requirements.

Cablurile folosite pentru incalzirea conductelor prin care circula hidrocarburi, trebuie sa reziste in mod sigur unei temperaturi inconjuratoare de 220ºC , pentru ca in cazul reparatiilor la conducte sa permita spalarea cu abur de 12 bar.

Heating cables that are used to heat pipelines, which conduct hydrocarbons need to safely with-stand environmental temperatures of 220°C to al-low a steam flush at 12 bar steam during pipeline repairs.

In cazul conductelor pentru apa sau a celor care in caz de reparatii nu se spala cu abur, se poate renunta la aceasta ultima conditie.

For water conduits or pipes that do not have to be steamed out in case repairs are needed, the con-dition last noted may be waived.

Cablurile de incalzire cu autoreglare se vor folosi numai pentru incalzirea aparatelor individuale (de ex. dusuri de avarie, aparate de analiza, etc), re-spectiv in cazul unor trasee scurte de incalzire (putere redusa de incalzire).

Self-regulating heating bands are only to be used to heat individual devices (e.g. safety showers, analyzing devices, etc.) or for relatively short heat-ing distances (low heat output).

Cablurile de incalzire utilizate, trebuie sa prezinte in stare calda o rezistenta de izolatie de min. 10 Mohm.

The heating cables used must show an insulating value of at least 10 mega-ohms for each heating circuit at operating state temperatures.

2.5 Reglarea 2.5 RegulatIon Resistance Heating Cables

Daca reglarea se realizeaza prin intermediul unui bloc de reglare central, atunci fiecare circuit trebuie sa aiba intrarile si iesirile de comanda executate independent (autark), pentru ca depistarea defecte-lor si reparatiile sa se poata efectua fara intre-ruperea functionarii celorlaltor circuite de incalzire.

If a central regulating unit provides for the regula-tion, each heating circuit must be self-sufficiently monitored by control outputs and inputs to allow for troubleshooting and repairs without interrupt-ing the operation of other heating circuits.

Regulatorul trebuie sa permita setarea in grade a valorii prescrise si sa indice temperatura reala.

The regulator must permit a target value setting in degrees and display the actual temperature.

Pentru sesizarea temperaturii se folosesc senzori (termorezistente) PT100 corespunzatori zonelor cu pericol de explozie

To determine temperature readings, PT100 sen-sors, accordind to the hazardous explosive areas are to be used.

In mod normal, in zonele cu pericol de explozie,

circuitele se vor executa cu protectie intrinseca.

Normally, in the hazardous explosive areas circuits will be executed with intrinsec safe pro-tection.

2.6 Dispozitive pentru alimentare electrica

2.6 Electrical Supply Units

Dulapurile de alimentare ale distribuitoarelor pentru incalziri se vor echipa cu dispozitive au- tomate de comutare, astfel incat, alimentarea sa se poata realiza fie de pe sursa A, fie de pe sursa B a statiei de distributie de 400V.

The supply cabinets of the heating distributors are to be equipped with automatic switching de-vices so that power can be supplied either by track A or B of the respective 400 V distribution station.

Pe circuitul de alimentare se vor prevedea aparate de indicare a curentului si tensiunii tuturor fazelor.

Power and voltage meters for all phases are to be designed for the power supply.

Semnalizarea defectelor individuale ale circuitelor de incalzire: caderea tensiunii de retea sau a celei de comanda, declansarea la temperatura minima sau temperatura maxima, vor fi indicate vizibil si vor fi transmise suplimentar ca semnale de avarie fara potential (numai contact) la clemele dulapului de comanda.

Individual error indicators for the heating circuits, such as loss of supply voltage and control volt-age, activation of insufficient temperatures or temperature limits are to be displayed clearly and are to be carried additionally as an accumulative malfunction message potential-free on terminals in the switch cabinet.

Aceasta semnalizare generala se va transmite la tabloul de comanda al instalatiei aferente. In cazul unei decuplari voite a circuitelor de incalzire, tre-buie sa se anuleze semnalizarea de avarie a cirui-telor de incalzire.

This accumulative malfunction message is to be assigned to the appropriate plant control room. If a heating circuit is purposefully switched off, an error indication of the heating circuit must not be activated.

2.7 Executia izolatiei termice la partile de in-stalatie incalzite electric

2.7 Design of the Heating Insulation of Elec-trically Heated Plant Components

Executarea izolatiei termice se face conform normelor Petrom OMV L 1001 si L 3001, avandu-se in vedere o protectie eficienta contra umiditatii.

The heating insulation is to be designed in accor-dance to Petrom OMV Standards L 1001 and L 3001, however it must incorporate an effective protection against moisture.

In cazul conductelor verticale, constructiile de spri-jin necesare izolatiei se vor executa in asa fel, incat cablul de incalzire sa poate fi pozat fara a fi deterio-rat.

For vertical pipelines the isolation support structures are to be designed so that the heating cables can be routed without being damaged.

Capacele de inchidere ale izolatiei nu trebuie sa deterioreze intrarile cablului de incalzire.

The insulation's terminating discs must not lead to damage to the heating cable routing.

Mantaua de protectie contra intemperiilor trebuie sa fie montata cand materialul de izolatie este uscat, iar imbinarile, intrarile de cabluri, etc. se vor etansa cu material corespunzator.

The weather protective casing must be fitted when the insulation material is dry, whereas joints, feedthroughs, etc. must be closed off with an appropriate sealing material.

Infasurarile trebuie sa tina seama de conditiile at-mosferice.

The laps must take account for atmospheric con-ditions.

Elementele de deservire ale armaturilor trebuie sa strapunga izolatia astfel incat sa fie evitate decupa-rile deschise

Operating controls of fittings, etc must pierce through the insulation in such a way to prevent open cut-outs around the operating controls.

Pe intreaga zona a partilor incalzite electric, izolatia trebuie sa prezinte aceeasi eficienta de izolare.

The insulation must display the same insulating effects for the entire area of the electrically heated plant components.

Intrarile cablurilor de incalzire si ale senzorilor de temperatura trebuie sa strapunga mantaua de pro-tectie contra intemperiilor sub o forma care sa ex-cluda deteriorarile.

The heating cables as well as the temperature sensor cable feeds connected to the plant com-ponents must pierce the insulation's protective weather casing in an appropriate manner to ex-clude damage.

Garantia pentru buna functionare a sistemelor de incalzire,inclusiv izolatia termica va fi asigurata de contractor.

The warranty for the functionality of the secon-dary heating, including its corresponding heat in-sulation is to be carried out by a contractor.

2.8 Marcarea partilor de instalatie incalzite electric

2.8 Marking the Electrically Heated Plant Components

Pentru marcarea conductelor sau partilor de ins-talatie incalzite, la intervale de 5 m, pe mantaua de protectie contra intemperiilor , se vor amplasa tablite de avertizare: “Atentie-incalzire electrica”.

An appropriate caution label "Attention: Electrical Heating" is to be attached to the protective weather casing of the heating insulation in intervals of a maximum of five meters to mark the heated pipe-lines and plant components.

Inceputul si sfârsitul circuitului de incalzire se vor marca prin sageti si prin inscrierea numarului cir-cuitului de incalzire pe mantaua de protectie contra intemperiilor.

Heating circuits beginnings and endings are to be marked by labelling them with appropriate arrows and the heating circuit number is to be applied to the weather protective casing of the heating insu-lation.

In continuare, numerotarea circuitului de incalzire se va plasa in locuri adecvate pe traseul conduc-tei, astfel incât sa fie posibila o urmarire usoara in cazul circuitelor cu lungimi mari.

Furthermore, the heating circuit numbers are to be placed on appropriate locations along the pipeline in order to allow for local tracing possi-bilities at longer heating circuit lengths.

Pe cutiile de alimentare, cutiile de borne interme-diare, etc. se va aplica o placa de timbru cu ur-matoarele date:

A nameplate is to be attached to infeed cabinets, intermediate terminal boxes, etc. with the follow-ing information:

2.9 Verificarea si receptia 2.9 Testing and Acceptance Verificarea finala a incalzirii electrice, in ceea ce priveste capacitatea de functionare, cu masurarea puterii de incalzire si a rezervei se executa in lunile de iarna ulterioare montajului.

A final testing of the electrical secondary heating unit with regards to its operational reliability to in-clude measuring the heating capabilities and its reserves is to take place in the winter months fol-lowing the installation.

Imbunatatirile si completarile se vor face imediat dupa aceste verificari, in mod gratuit, de catre contractor.

Subsequent improvements and additions are to be carried out immediately and free of charge by the contractor after testing has been performed.

Clasa de protectie EX a echipamentului de incal-zire prevazuta in documentatia de proiect trebuie sa fie atestata de un certificate ATEX furnizat de catre producator.

The executed EX-Class for heating equipment in EX-Protection Design must be provided as ATEX-Certificate from the manufacturer.

2.10 Documentatie 2.10 Documentation Din documentatie fac parte toate documentatiile desenate, necesare pentru operarea instalatiei si pentru executarea reparatiilor, cum ar fi: planuri cu circuite electrice, planuri de cleme de legatura, izometrii, planuri de situatie, descrierile cablurilor

An integral part of the documentation are those drawings needed to operate the system and exe-cute repairs, such as circuit diagrams, terminal diagrams, isometrics, unit location plans and de-scriptions of the heating cables utilized along with

de incalzire folosite cu toate certificatele si ates-tatele.

any possible certificates and attestations.

In izometrii si in planurile de situatie se va inscrie pozitia corecta a tuturor echipamentelor electrice aferente incalzirii cu impartirea circuitelor de incal-zire, mufarile de cabluri, etc. care se afla in zona conductelor si partilor de instalatie.

The isometrics and unit location plans are to show the exact location of all electrical equipment with heating circuit distribution, cable couplings, etc., which are part of the secondary heating units that are to be found in the pipeline and plant components.

Documentatiile se vor pune la dispozitie dupa fina-lizarea instalatiei conform conditiilor din comanda.

The listed documents are to be provided as per con-ditions of the sales order after the system has been completed.

Inainte de inceperea montajului, doua exemplare de desene de executie se vor inmâna responsabi-lului de proiect

Before beginning with the installation,the con-struction drawings are be handed to the project manager in duplicate.

3.0 CORPURI DE INCALZIRE DEBROSABILE 3.0 PLUG-IN HEATING UNITS

3.1 Bazele executiei 3.1 Basic Design Principles Corpurile de incalzire debrosabile trebuie sa core-spunda cerintelor de incalzire; incarcarea specifica de suprafata a tevilor de incalzire trebuie sa fie adaptata mediului care se incalzeste.

The plug-in heating units must conform to the heating requirements and their specified surface strain at the heating pipes must be coordinated with the medium to be heated.

In perimetrul rafinariilor Petrom / OMV, tensiunea de alimentare pentru corpurile de incalzire este de 3 x 380V, 50Hz.

To supply voltage for plug-in heating units in the Petrom OMV refineries area 3 x 380V, 50 Hz are available.

Pentru a se evita formarea condensului, dozele de conexiuni ale corpurilor de incalzire se vor preve-dea cu o incalzire corespunzatoare de repaus.

To prevent condensation water from developing, the rooms next to the heating units may be sup-plied with respective standing heating units.

In cazul montarii unor corpuri de incalzire care vin in contact direct cu mediul de lucru dintr-un rezer-vor, etc., atunci trebuie ca inlocuirea corpului de in-calzire sa fie posibila fara golirea rezervorului.

When installing plug-in heating units which utilize a direct heating medium in containers, etc. the exchange of the plug-in heating unit must be possible without having to drain the container.

Rezistenta de izolatie a corpului de incalzire, in stare calda, nu trebuie sa scada sub 10 Mohm, tensiune de incercare 500 V.

The insulation value of the heating unit at operat-ing state temperature must not fall below 10 mega-ohms, 500 V test voltage.

3.2 Reglarea 3.2 Regulation Reglarea corpurilor de incalzire se realizeaza cu ajutorul tehnicii de masura si control in functie de temperatura mediului de lucru sau prin intermediul unui termostat pe incalzitor.

The plug-in heating units may be regulated via MSR technology from the medium temperature or by a regulating thermostat on the heater.

Pentru respectarea protectiei antiexplozive, se va instala un termostat pe suprafata tubului de incal-zire care functioneaza ca un limitator de temperatu-ra cu rearmare.

In order to maintain the ex-protection, a heating pipe surface thermostat is to be installed as a re-setting temperature limiting unit.

In cazul in care corpurile de incalzire se folosesc pentru incalzirea lichidelor, atunci se va prevedea si o supraveghere de nivel peste suprafata activa de incalzire.

If heating units are used to heat up fluids, the fluid level is to be monitored above the active heated surface.

In cazul mediilor de lucru curgatoare, se va preve-dea un supraveghetor de curgere.

For flowing substances, a flow monitor is neces-sary.

3.3 Dispozitive pentru alimentare electrica 3.3 Electrical Supply Units Pentru corpuri de incalzire cu puteri mici, alimenta-rea electrica se realizeaza de la o derivatie a sigu-rantelor istalatiei de alimentare de 380V si cu un in-trerupator PORNIT – OPRIT local.

For heating units for smaller capacities, the power supply is conducted by branching off a cir-cuit of the 380 V switch gear with a local OFF-ON switch.

Reglarea, supravegherea de temperatura, de nivel sau de curgere sunt preluate in acest caz de contactele de comutare ale senzorilor din circuitul principal.

In this case, the main current for the regulator, the medium temperature monitor, level monitor or voltage monitor is provided by the local switch contacts of the sensors.

Pentru corpuri de incalzire de puteri mai mari, se vor instala circuite duble de contactori in instalatia de distributie de 380V.-vezi schema electrica mo-del din fig.1.

For heating units of higher capacities, doubly pro-tected circuit branches off of the 380 V switch gear are to be installed. Sample Wiring Diagrams see Fig.1.

In cazul incalzirii mediilor curgatoare, care necesita un regim de incalzire continuu, in instalatia de dis-tributie de 380V se va prevedea montarea unui re-gulator de sarcina.

When heating flowing substances, which require continuous heat, power controllers are to be in-stalled in the 380 V switch gear.

3.4 Verificare si receptie 3.4 Testing and Acceptance Clasa de protectie EX a echipamentului de incalzire prevazuta in documentatia de proiect trebuie sa fie atestata de un certificate ATEX furnizat de catre producator.

The executed EX-Class for heating equipment in EX-Protection Design must be provided as ATEX-Certificate from the manufacturer.

3.5 Documentatie 3.5 Documentation Conform comenzii, se vor pune la dispozitie schemele de conexiuni si legaturi,specificatiile( data sheeturi) corpurilor de incalzire debrosa-bile,impreuna cu manualul de exploatare, etc.

In accordance with the sales order conditions, In-ternal wiring diagrams and terminal plans, data sheets of the plug-in heating units with corre-sponding instruction manuals are to be provided.

4.0 GARANTII 4.0 WARRANTIES Daca in comanda nu este stabilit altfel, corespun-zator conditiilor generale de achizitie ale Petrom / OMV.

In as far as not otherwise determined in the pur-chase order, commensurate with the General Purchasing Conditions of Petrom OMV.
