2012 began with good news for our social enterprise we started a new partnership with Carpatsticks for which
adults with intellectual disabilities sort and pack thousands of sticks per month. In winter a special merit had our
snow mobile team, who worked hard every day to assure road accessibility. Each of them received as reward a
pair of winter boots.
We also continued internal contests to motivate employees of the social enterprise, including Worker of the
Week, where most industrious were a role model for the other employees.Spring has brought us, as we have already got used to, many orders of trinkets (martisoare). In addition to
these traditional products, we developed a new product - brooches made from dried plants. These products have
been promoted through our Seasonal Catalogue and at local fairs - two organized at Contitech and one in part-
nership with United Way Romania.
Soon, the enterprise will extend its copy centre activity in the building of "New Horizons", a day centre built within
the project Social Economy - a chance for people with intellectual disabilities. You are welcome to visit us at our
new headquarter!
The social Enterprise Pentru Voi and the Supported Employment Service

Hendrik Mattheus (Matthijs) van Bonzel visited Pentru Voi for
the first time. The Ambassador and his wife, accompanied by
the Honorary Consul of the Netherlands, Mr. Marius Popa,
admired and appreciated the work of our service users, talked
with them and with the support staff. In one of the groups they
were greeted with the song "A ship in Amsterdam", played at
the accordion by Adi - one of our service users with autism.
We were honored to receive the visit and grateful for the con-
stant support we have received for more than 20 years now
from Dutch organizations and the Dutch government.
His Excellency is the fourth Ambassador who visits us and we
were very glad to have had him with us.
