    HEMATOLOGICAL MODIFICATIONS IN BOVINES RAISED IN AHEAVY METALS POLLUTED AREA

    REZUMAT

    Cunoscndu-se c plumbul are mai mare semnificaie clinic, comparativ cu celelalte metalegrele, la taurine, spre deosebire de alte specii de animale, s-a determinat nivelul plumbului sanguin i aufost efectuate investigaii hematologice doar la taurine, pe probe de snge pereche recoltate de la animaledin aceeai zon.

    Rezultatele analizelor hematologice (numr eritrocitar, hemoglobin, hematocrit, VEM, HEM,CHEM, numr leucocitar, formula leucocitar i examenul citomorfologic al hematiilor) i toxicologice aufost efectuate pe probe de snge recoltate de la taurine adulte, femele, cu vrste cuprinse ntre 14 i 132 deluni, gestante, lactante sau n ateptare.

    Valorile obinute n urma examenului toxicologic indic o intoxicaie cu plumb, valorile obinuten urma investigaiilor hematologice sugereaz evoluia unei anemii microcitare, normo sau hipercrome,iar valorile tuturor constantelor sanguine sugereaz o anemie hipoplastic, toxic, n evoluie.

    SUMMARY

    Knowing that lead has a more important clinical signification in bovines, then the other heavymetals, we determined lead blood levels, and we realized hematological investigations only in bovines, onblood samples sampled from animals raised in the same area.

    Hematological investigations results (erythrocytes number, hemoglobin, hematocryt, VEM,HEM, CHEM, leucocytes number, hole blood counter, and morphologic examination of erythrocytes), andtoxicological investigation results were realized on blood samples sampled from adult female bovines,with age between 14-132 month, in gestation, lactation or in wait period.

    Values obtained from toxicological investigation indicate a lead poisoning; values obtained fromhematological investigations suggest evolution of a mycrocytary, normal or hyperchromic anemia, andvalues of all blood constants suggest an hypoplastic, toxic anemia in evolution.

    SUMMARYMycotoxins can be metabolized in the animals organisms, fed with contaminated feed, reaching

    milk, eggs and organs. The contamination with mycotoxins is present everywhere, in a bigger or smallerproportion; the animals breeders should be conscious of the possible damage because of this reason.

    Taking into account this situation, during the period 2004-2006, there was effected a number of2518 dozes of mycotoxins, respectively for deoxinilvalenol, ochratoxin, and toxin T2, from the poultry andswine feed. From these samples a number of 56 were positive, from which 37 contained the toxin T2 andfrom these the most 16, in the period 2004-2006.

    The others mycotoxins were rarely observed, respectively 18 positive samples with ochratoxinand only one positive sample found to DON.

    SUMMARYHigh sensitivity analytical techniques used in the last years to detect drug residues in alimentary

    products of animal origin succeeded to detect very small concentrations of those substances. Nowadays, itis accepted the presence of some residues under some limits (residues maximum limits), limits that arestrictly established and accepted for every substance.

    This paper intends to reveal comparative depletion of two quinolones (enrofloxacin andcyprofloxacin) residues in poultry liver and kidney after the oral administration of the medicines.

    For this purpose, we measured the two substances residues quantity at diverse time intervalsafter the treatment stopped, observing their decrease.

    Depending on these aspects, we could establish the waiting interval after the administration ofsome commercial products that contain the two active substances.

    REZUMAT

    Poluanii de tipul metalelor grele sunt deosebit de periculoi prin remanena de lung durat nsol, precum i datorit prelurii lor de ctre plante i animale. Acestor elemente de toxicitate li se adaug,n cazul metalelor grele, posibilitatea combinrii lor cu minerale i oligominerale, devenind blocani aiacestora i frustrnd astfel organismele de aceste elemente indispensabile vieii.

    Scopul cercetrii noastre a vizat studierea zona Hunedoara cunoscut ca poluat cu metale greledatorit termocentralei Mintia i a constat n evaluarea cantitativ a diverilor poluani n organele iesuturile animalelor crescute n mediul poluat, corelaia ntre poluarea sol-plant pe de o parte i animalepe de alt parte i corelaia ntre concentraia poluanilor studiai i prevederile normelor legale privindcantitile maxim admise ale acestora.
