Contraverse cu implicarea tinerilor specialiti si popularizarea stiintei

"... in sectiunea de abstract a proiectului cat si in textul in limba englezaa cererii de finantare, sectiunea 2, este mentionat un tanarpostdoctorand, cu un salariu total pe perioada celor trei ani de derularede 36 mii RON (ceea ce reprezinta un procent mic (3% ) din intreagasuma a proiectului);..."

Ne–profesionalizm, iresponsabilitate si rea–vointa în examinarea contestatiei

Cu privire la "dificienta majora" - vizibilitatea?

O deficienta majora a proiectului este vizibilitatea diminuata in cadrul domeniului (matematica-fizica si matematica), arezultatelor cercetarii asa cum rezulta din situatia citarilor articolelor rezultate din proiect.

Proiectul are o componenta importanta de obiective (foarte interesante) din domeniul matematicii pure (de exemplu"noncommutative Ricci Flow" sau "Nonholonomic Clifford Structures and Dirac Operators"), deasemeni, componenta dematematica-fizica este bine acoperita in baza de date AMS (AMS-MSC clasificarile-70-80).

Cu toate acestea, contrar celor afirmate in contestatie, in aceasta baza de date, analizand primele 27 de lucrari (din2010-prezent) nu rezulta decat 6 citari (care sa nu fie autocitari). Dat fiind ca baza de date MathSciNet este prioritara in domeniulmatematicii, si matematica-fizica, reiese ca vizibilitatea rezultalor cercetarii este intr-adevar scazuta.

Raspunsuri SV

3-15 luni de la publicare. Câte citari ar putea fi? Lista a 8 lucrari raportate cu 24citari in ISI Web Knowlege. Pentru abilitare la mate (15 ani activitate) – 12 citari.

Sunt autorul directiilor "NC Ricci flows, Nonholonomic Clifford Structures & Diracoperators"; zeci de lucrari în J. Math. Phys., JHEP, IJGMMP, CQG dupa 1996 -reviste top ISI/ scor influenta, ne AMS. FM este si la APS, Elsevier, IOP...Dezvoltarile IDEI multi– disciplinare - > 10 lucrari premiate UEFISCDI 2011-13.

nu exista in MathSciNet dar exista în ISI Web Knowledge (lista). Nu pot fischimbate criteriile: Propunerile s-au evaluat conform ISI WK.

De altfel si in baza de date ISI Web of Knowledge, in lista de citari prezentata, (in care de altfelprima lucrare din lista este o autocitare) vizibilitatea este restransa la un cerc foarte mic despecialisti si colaboratori ai Directorului de Proiect (grupul Panayiotis, Basilakos, Kourtesis,Mavrotmatos). Referitor la indexul Hirsch, acesta se calculeaza fara a lua in consideratiedistinctia citari /autocitari. In cazul de fata, 80% din cele 740 de citari ISI, pe decursul carierei,sunt autocitari.

Daca ar fi citit lista, lucarea "auto-citare" a fost raportata IDEI, premiataUEFISCI, si a obtinut citari impreuna cu alte 7 lucari raportate - vezi lista.

Prof. Stavrinos, Basilakos, Kouretsis nu sunt colaboratorii lui S. Vacaru (primul afost co-autor) - sunt din Atena, Salonic si Londra; alte 15 persoane au citatrecent lucrarile raportate la IDEI.

Indexul Hirsch fara auto-citari se calzuleaza in Scopus - si în acest caz SV areun index mai mare de cat majoritatea directorilor IDEI la mate.

Auto-citârile nu sunt "crima", ci necesitate multi-disciplinara. Total SV are în ISIWK peste 140 citari fara auto–citari - vezi lista.
