Buddy: You will have the opportunity to sign up for a Buddy (a second or third year student who

will assist new incoming students). You can sign up for a Buddy on

http://www.iba.dk/international/information-for-international-students. Your Buddy will meet you

when you arrive and help you during your first days in Denmark.

Computer: You are required to bring your own laptop, dictionaries and a calculator, as the academy

does not provide them. At IBA written exams are digital, so it is important that your laptop is not

too old and in a perfect condition - as a minimum you PC must have windows 7 - Mac computers

should as a minimum have OS X version 10.8.0. Linux computers do not correspond with IBAs wifi

and digital exam system.

Literature/Books: The literature list is uploaded on the IBA website. You can buy your books before

you arrive to Denmark or you can wait and order the books after your arrival. We have a special

arrangement with a bookstore in Denmark, which provides the opportunity to purchase all books for

the programme at a special package price. We expect that you possess of all the required books.

Facebook group “IBA – New Students – Autumn 2016”: We are setting up a Facebook group

which can be very useful for all new students – here you can connect with other new students and

perhaps search for a roommate in order to save money on accommodation.
