Details on this cave (Detalii despre aceasta peştera)
One of the most known caves of Răchiţele. It's famous because of its "montmilch", a rare formation. The cave has two entrances (from the first, after the rain, comes water).
How to reach this cave (Cum se ajunge la aceasta peştera)
From the center of the village of Rachitele, follow the road to the Valul Miresei waterfall (in Stanciu Valley) for a few kilometers until you see - next to the road, on the right - the steep bed of a small waterfall (see the photos). Park your car and take the small path on the right of this waterfall, which later you will have to cross. Follow the path which, going up the woods, reaches the cave.
