DynamicStudio is the revolutionary software platform foradvanced imaging experiments, including easy set-up and

control of hardware, data acquisition and storage, fastanalysis and presentation of results. The user interface is

intuitive with plug-and-play connection of cameras, synchro-nization devices and other hardware.

Increasing camera resolution, frame rate and the simultane-ous use of multiple cameras generate huge amounts of data.

DynamicStudio handles the data intelligently by distributingdata acquisition, storage and processing to GPUs and any

number of PCs over a network. This combined with a flexible database structure and

advanced analysis, post-processing and visualization modulesincluding support for 3D vision displays and glasses make

DynamicStudio capable of covering the widest range of

    applications.

Modern Imaging Applications Require the Most Advanced Software

Platform - DynamicStudio Is the Solution

    DynamicStudio Makes Complex Measurements Easy

Diagram showing how to connect synchronization cables betweenthe auto-detected devices.

User interface to the Acquisition Manager allowing control oftraverses and definition of complex automated measurements.

    Easy Set-up with Plug-and-Play

Forget about setting up your system and typing complicated

    system parameters. DynamicStudio automatically recognizes

devices plugged into a PC in the network, and configuresthem.

    Cable Connection Wizard

The cable connection diagram guides you through thecabling of the system.

    Automated Measurements

With the Acquisition Manager you can set up a series ofmeasurements each with different settings (e.g. traversing

position, laser pulse separation or frame rate). This automati-

cally controls attached devices such as cameras, lasers and

    traversing systems.

Maximum Frame Rate with Distributed Acquisition

Full frame rate on all cameras in multi-camera set-ups suchas stereo PIV or Volumetric Velocimetry, LIF or large area

applications with image stitching Long measurement series - each PC has storage capacity for

the camera connected to it Remote control - the image acquisition system can be in

the lab and the control PC in a different room

Scalable performance - number of cameras, or storagecapacity easily upgraded by adding PCs

Different camera types can be combined

Even the most complex analysis sequences can be defined and applied to different ensembles andhanded over to Distributed Analysis using batch processing.

Fast Data Access with Distributed Database

Data can be stored on separate PCs in a network, yet

accessed from one PC. The master database keeps track of

the distribution of the data. State-of-the-art database toolsprovide these advantages:

Capacity to store thousands of images as required for goodstatistics or long time series

    Simple and robust data management

All set-up parameters are stored with each experiment Full documentation of hardware and data processing

    parameters

    Fast Results with Distributed Analysis

The distributed architecture is very powerful for data

analysis; the data is analyzed on the PC that has stored the

data. This has several advantages: Reduction of data processing time by parallel computing

    Reduction of data transfer time

    Batch Processing for Automated Analysis

Analyze vast amounts of data swiftly and consistently:

Pre-define analysis sequences Re-use analysis sequences on new data sets
