Titlu lucrare: Andrei Codrescu and the Irony of a Hyphenated Self

Abstract: In continutul lucrarii de doctorat cu titlul Andrei Codrescu and the
Irony of a Hyphenated Self ne propunem a analiza urmatoarele: universul creatiei
lui Andrei Codrescu, inteferenta biograficului cu opera, relatia cu traditia literara
de pana la el (modele si mentori: Lucian Blaga si Tristan Tzara, generatia Beat),
notiunile de sine si identitate (self and identity) intr-un spatiu care se formeaza
si respectiv intr-un spatiu adoptiv (identity shifting, mask-making, identity
mapping), intentionalitatea ironiei la Andrei Codrescu, functiile ironiei,
ostentatia prin ironie, autofictiunea, hibridizarea genurilor literare.
