DESCRIPTION
Judea is a Zambra that was written by Luis Maravilla and Francisco Merenciano in 1952.This particular edition was published by Edciones Musicales in 1964. Luis Maravilla was a contemporary of Ricardo and Sabicas, though not as well known, he was adept at both the flamenco and classical guitar. In Judea one can hear the influence of Nino Ricardo but Mr. Maravilla introduces new falsetas to the Zambra form. The music is in standard notation and tablature. As a side note, Some of the falsetas within Judea were played by Nino Miguel in his Zambra, Embrujo y Magia.
