A white and red garland
You will need red and white square sheets of paper for this garland.
The size of the squares is at your wish. We used A4 sheets, and made two squares from every sheet. Each square is folded in an accordion, bent in the middle and then glued to the next square. Alternate red and white colours.
This activity can be practised in a large group. Each kid can prepare his/her element and then it will be added to the joint garland:)
It is beautiful both hanging or suspended.

Tender HEARTS
These delicate hearts are made with several colored paper strips, a stapler and a pair of scissors.
Cut out two strips of paper in each color. Stack them together, starting with the longest and adding ever shorter strips on each side of the stack. Staple together at one end.
Turn the stack over and start forming hearts from the innermost strips. Gradually add the longer ones. Staple the ends again and cut away what you don’t need.

Big paper martenitsas
These big martenitsas are easy and quick to make.
You will need two A4 sheets of paper – white and red.
Fold each of the sheets by the middle (lengthwise).
Draw 10-12 equal lines as shown above.
Cut them with scissors.
Glue both ends.
Finally, just shape the circle.
We put a red tape to make our martenitsas more beautiful.
Heart-shaped pom-pom
The design depends on the way you trim the pom-pom:)
We decided to cut it in the shape of a heart and the result was this cute martenitsa necklace. You have to be very smart with the scissors to make you heart look really good.
So this craft is not that easy to make, as I usually use to say
Make to pom-pom, but make sure that a lot of thread has to be trimmed in order to make a beautiful shape.Roll enough tread on a thick piece of cardboard paper (we used a hard cover notepad).
Run a strong string through the centre of the pom-pon, loop it twice and pull down tight.
First start with the classic shape of the heart.
After that start making the heart bushy on the front and back side, and trim it with the scissors.
Compare the final result with the size of the note book, that we used.
In Bulgarian folklore the month of March is often portrayed as a plump, cheerful old lady, “baba Marta”.
Als ich mein Projekt DIY Paper Diamonds gepostet habe, hatte ich Ideen, was man mit dieser Falttechnik alles machen kann.
Daraus entstand dieser Sternenhänger.Ich habe die Bilder von meinem DIY Paper Diamonds Post erweitert.
Auf den Bildern sind leider keine Nummern, aber die Beschreibungen gehen
von links nach rechts.
1. Starte mit einem viereckigem Papier2-4. Falten wie auf dem Bild
5-6. Falten wie auf dem Bild7. Falte die Ecken rein, so dass es wieder ein Quadrat ist
8. Drehe es 180 ° und falte die Ecken zur Mitte hin
9-10. Wiederhole das auf beiden Seiten11. Schneide die Ecken ab
12. Falte die Ecken nochmal ein, damit es überall gefaltet ist
13-14. Wichtig ist, später bei dem 2 Diamond dieselben Ecken zu nehmen für das Falten, weil sonst die Diamonds unterschiedlich sind und nicht übereinander passen
15-16. Die Ecken werden reingefaltet, alle in dieselbe Richtung
Bis hierhin ist das dieselbe Falttechnik wie bei meinem DIY Paper DiamondsAb hier ändert sich die Falttechnik
17-18. Jetzt werden alle acht Seiten an den eben gemachten Faltlinien ganz einfach nach innen geklappt.
19. Dann wieder zusammenklappen, indem man alles von außen nach innen führt. Sieht dann aus wie auf dem folgenden Bild.
20. Die stumpfen Spitzen nach außen falten.
21-24. Jetzt kommt das spannende Öffnen. Dazu vorsichtig in die Öffnung greifen und auseinander drücken.
25. Mit einer Nadel ein Loch in die Ecke Stechen und den Faden durchfädeln.Und auf Wunsch eine Klingel oder Perlen dranhängen
