    I. PREZENTAREA MANUALULUI DE STUDIU INDIVIDUAL

    1. Generaliti

    1.1. Obiect

    Obiectul de studiu al manualului este limba englez de afaceri (Business English),axndu-se cu precdere pe engleza folosit n turism i comer. Cu toate acestea, vorfi ntlnite i alte teme din domeniul englezei de afaceri.

    1.2. Obiective principale

    Obiectivele principale ale manualului de studiu individual sunt urmtoarele:- s ofere studenilor un material practic i eficient pentru nsuirea i aprofundarea

    limbii engleze;- s ndrume studenii spre titluri bibliografice semnificative n vederea unor

    exerciii suplimentare;- s instruiasc studenii n a-i realiza un program propriu de autonvare, prin

    divizarea materiei pe module i uniti;- s permit studenilor s realizeze un program propriu de autoevaluare, prin

    testele concepute n acest sens n cadrul fiecrei uniti de nvare.

    1.3. Descrierea structurii manualului

    Manualul are n structura sa urmtoarele componente:- ghidul de nvare n sistem de autoinstruire;- generaliti privind prezentarea manualului;- modulele de studiu, defalcate pe uniti de nvare.Manualul ncepe de la un nivel de false beginner (fals nceptor) i conducestudentul spre un nivel de intermediate (intermediar).

    The indefinite article a/an is used with singular nouns. A is used in front of aconsonant, an is used in front of vowel sounds (articolul nehotrt a/an se folosete cusubstantive la singular; se traduce prin o/un; a se folosete n faa consoanele, an sefolosete n faa vocalelor; ambele pot fi traduse prin o/un):

    The plural of nouns is usually formed by adding s to the singular noun.
