Institutul Naţional pentru Fizica Materialelor Colaborări: Dr. Ing. Ion Bibicu (spectrometria Mössbauer); Dr. Cătălin Negrilă şi C. Logofătu (analiza XPS). Originalitatea este reflectată în rezultatele obţinute:
o s-au raportat noi inhibitori de coroziune a oţelului carbon în diferite medii agresive: (N-ciclohexil-2-benzotiazol sulfenamida; Disulfura de bis (2-benzotiazolil); N-(2-hidroxibenziliden) tiosemicarbazida; N-[(4-aminofenilenil) sulfonil]acetamida; 4-amino-N-(1,3-tiazol-2-il)benzen sulfonamida; 5-(3,4,5-trimetoxibenzil)pirimidină-2,4-diamină; 7,11b-dihidroindeno[2,1-c]cromen-3,4,6a, 9,10 (6H)-pentol; (8S, 9R)-6-metoxi-4-chinolenil-5-vinil-2-chinuclidinil sulfat metanol dihidrat; 1,3-dimetil-7H-purin-2,6-diona; 1,2-etilendiamină(2:1); 4-(fenildiazenil)fenil 2-furoat; polimolibdatul de amoniu; o s-au stabilit anumiţi parametri de exploatare (concentraţii, temperaturi, etc.) în vederea diminuării/prevenirii coroziunii oţelului carbon şi a oţelului inoxidabil; o s-au studiat anumite modele de adsorbţie bazate pe fitarea datelor experimentale utilizând izoterme de adsorbţie specifice; o s-a interpretat într-o manieră originală mecanismul de dezvoltare a filmelor subţiri formate prin adsorbţie pe substraturile studiate şi rolul acestora în diminuarea/combaterea coroziunii; o a fost evaluatǎ comparativ rezistența la coroziune a straturilor metalice (nichel și staniu) și a straturilor de compozite pe bazǎ de staniu sau nichel, ȋn a cǎror matrițǎ au fost inserate particule de oxid de ceriu, oxid de aluminiu sau oxid mixt.

Prestaţia la curs a fost evaluată de studenţii de la ciclul de licenţă şi master prin cuantificarea fiecărei întrebări din fişa de evaluare cu note de la 1 la 10; calificativul obţinut: “foarte bine”
Colaborările cu tinerii cercetători (masteranzi, doctoranzi, asistenţi, chimişti), în cadrul proiectelor de cercetare obţinute prin competiţie naţională, în calitate de director de proiect s-au concretizat prin participarea mea ca membru în: comisiile de îndrumare pentru elaborarea tezelor de doctorat; comisiile de examene şi rapoarte/referate aferente şcolii doctorale; membru în comisiile de susţinere a tezelor de doctorat; preşedinte şi/sau membru în comisiile de licenţă şi disertaţie; membru în juriu la Sesiunea Naţională de Comunicări Ştiinţifice a Studenţilor, C.D. Neniţescu.
Astfel, colaborările cu tinerii cercetători s-au materializat prin finalizarea: unor capitole din tezele de doctorat; lucrărilor de disertaţie şi de licenţă; unor lucrări susţinute la sesiunea de comunicări ştiinţifice studenţeşti.

1. Comportarea bioimplanturilor confecţionate din oţel inoxidabil 316L în soluţii fiziologice artificiale, competiţia 2007, cod CNCSIS 592 - director proiect.
2. Dezvoltarea spectroscopiei Mössbauer de suprafaţă pentru izotopii Sn-119 şi Eu-151, competiţia 2007, cod CNCSIS 751, coordonator INCDFM, Bucureşti (Director proiect Dr. Ion Bibicu) – responsabil contract colaborare.
3. Monostraturi organice auto-adsorbite pe suprafeţe metalice. Reacţii la interfaţa metal/electrolit, PN II – Program IDEI, competiţia 2008, cod 422 - director proiect.
4. Materiale compozite nanostructurate pentru pilele de combustie cu oxizi solizi, active catalitic în procesele de oxidare directă a combustibililor de tip hidrocarbură, CEEX-RELANSIN 267/2006 - membru în echipa de cercetare.
5. Studiul mecanismelor de coroziune a oţelului carbon în mediul de acid clorhidric în prezenţa unor inhibitori cu grad de protecţie avansat, CNCSIS - competiţia 2006, cod CNCSIS 208 - membru în echipa de cercetare.
6. Noi sisteme chimice pe bază de reţele nanocristaline şi arhitecturi poroase pentru pilele de combustie de temperatură intermediară (IT-SOFC) operând cu biogaz - (NANOBIOSOFC), PN-II-PT-PCCA-1, CTR. NR. 26/2012 - membru în echipa de cercetare.
7. Sinteza, caracterizarea şi testarea electrochimică a unor compuşi noi din clasa coloranţilor azoici, competiţia granturi - UCV, 2013, membru în echipa de cercetare.
Din tematica granturilor la care am fost director s-au publicat 15 lucrări în reviste cotate ISI (acknowledgment, vizibil în web of science).
S-a dezvoltat infrastructura de cercetare prin achiziţia unor echipamente performante pentru realizarea măsurătorilor electrochimice şi caracterizarea suprafeţelor prin microscopie optică.
