Despre AIESEC

AIESEC este cea mai mare organizaţie de tineri la nivel internaţional, fiind prezentă în

124 ţări şi teritorii, cu o istorie de 65 de ani în dezvoltarea personală şi profesională a tinerilor.

Organizaţia le oferă acestora posibilitatea unei experienţe de dezvoltare integrată, bazată pe

oportunităţi de leadership, schimb de experienţă internaţională şi activităţi de învăţare în cadrul

unui mediu internaţional.

AIESEC București a fost primul ONG din România, fondat cu ajutorul AIESEC Viena în

martie 1990. Începând de atunci, a ajutat constant tineri și comunități pentru a se dezvolta și a

desfășurat proiecte cu scopul de a genera un nivel ridicat de educație, perfomanță și

responsabilitate.

În anul 2014, AIESEC București a reușit să ofere prin programele Global Citizen și Global Internship:

Stagii de voluntariat în străinătate pentru 45 de persoane;

Internshipuri plătite în străinătate pentru 17 de persoane;

Stagii de voluntariat la București pentru 89 de persoane;

Internshipuri plătite la București pentru 18 de persoane.

Despre Let’s GO

“Let’s Go” este un program de educație non-formală care se adresează elevilor din ciclul

primar. Scopul acestuia este de a ajuta copiii să descopere culturi diferite în timp ce învață

lucruri noi despre geografie, istorie, desen, muzică, artă, ecologie, prin intermediul unor

modalități creative de învățare susținute de tinerii internaționali.

Această ediție a proiectului își propune să reunească 8 studenţi internaţionali care vor

facilita sesiunile. De asemenea, ei vor colabora cu profesorii de la şcolile participante astfel încât

să construiască diferite jocuri şi sesiuni care vin în completarea materiilor studiate de către elevi,

toate acestea într-un mediu multicultural. In plus, la fiecare curs va fi present un translator care

va facilita comunicarea între copii şi internaţionali.

Prin acest program, ne dorim să stimulăm proactivitata, responsabilitatea socială,

dezvoltarea personală şi creativitatea elevilor prin metode de educaţie non-formală, precum şi să

îşi îmbunătăţească abilităţile de relaţionare în limbă engleză.

Proiectul se va desfășura în perioada 5 ianuarie 2015 - 22 februarie 2015 și va cuprinde

următoarele patru teme cu obiectivele specifice cuprinse in agenda alăturată.

Bucuresti

Proiectul Let’s Go se află la prima ediție în București, însă în țară s-a desfășurat în orașe

precum Timișoara și Craiova, bucurându-se de un real success în rândul participanților.

Deoarece ne dorim să oferim o experiență calitativă tuturor oamenilor implicați în

proiect, ne propunem ca pentru această ediție să reunim elevi din 6 școli din București și 8 tineri

internaționali. Țările pe care le vor reprezenta internaționalii confirmați până acum sunt: Brazilia,

Indonezia, Malaezia și Ucraina.

Timi șoara

În cadrul primei ediții a proiectului au fost implicații 1001 elevi din clasele I-IV, 6 tineri

internaționali și 6 școli participante.

Craiova

În cadrul ediției din acest an, peste 1000 de elevi și 4 tineri internaționali au beneficiat de

o experienta multiculturala.

Trainees Booklet

• Project starting date: 5th of January 2015 • Project ending date: 22nd of February 2015

• The aim of the project: Let's GO PROJECT is aimed to deliver non-formal education to elementary school students, through new and creative ways of teaching. The aim is to help the children discover new cultures of the world and ways of behaving while also learning about ART, MUSIC, GEOGRAPHY, HISTORY, CIVICS, ECOLOGY, HEALTH etc. The project agenda is divided into 4 parts, each of them having a different purpose:

• The World Around Me • Myself and Others • My ideas • My responsibility

Objectives: 1. The kids establish a first contact with different cultures and their

perspective of the world is challenged for the first time.

2. Kids understand the value of diversity and learn how to adapt to differences in culture, habits and values.

3. Participants gain an understanding of the different cultures that exist around the world. They are offered the space to connect what they formaly learn in school with what is happening in the present time around the world.

Sessions: Around the world in 80 minutes - Trainers present their countries to

the children. In a dynamic and engaging way they introduce traditions, interesting facts and things to remember.

Session Objectives:

Participants establish a first contact with the internationals, through information about their home country.

Participants learn new things about before unknown cultures.

The participants' perspectives slowly change as they are introduced to something new.

Culture Clash - In this session trainers show differences between Romanian culture and their own culture, through showing different games they played in chilhood, presenting dishes that were traditionally cooked in their household. All the while, the children get to participate actively, by describng the Romanian way in terms of dishes, traditions and culture quircks.

Session Objectives: Participants get their first look at culture shock. They are put in a different position, that of the international that

is experiencing a different culture for the first time. They understand that diversity exists and that there is nothing

wrong with being different; they start to gain more tolerance towards the new and unknown.

DO and DON'T This session will help the children understand how to behave in an everchanging world. It will teach them through games or a simulation the ways in which they can navigate cultural situation and help prepare them for interactions with different cultures.

Session Objectives: Participants gain cultural sensitivity. Participants will be able to better adapt to different cultural

situations they might experience in the future.

Objectives: 1. Participants gain valuable experience in working in groups.

2. Participants understand how to adapt in different teams and that it is important to communicate with other people.

3. Participants learn new ways to communicate with eachother, that will help them establish social connections better.

Sessions: The New York Sky Scraper - Participants are split into groups and

they are given out a certain number of materials. They need to build a structure that can withstand different, uncontrolable factors, like the weather, earthquakes etc. In the end of the game, the trainers talk to the participants to see how they felt, what they learned, what they would do differently.

Session Objectives:

Participants learn to work together for a common goal.

Participants realise being able to tal clearly is very important when completing any task.

Talk away - In this session, the trainer gives the participants a context and helps them communicate and talk to eachother. The value of communication is explained and they put it into practice to see how a message can change from one person to the other.

Session Objectives: Participants are given the space to get in touch with their

classmates differently than before. Participants learn how to better talk and communicate to

someone.

Objectives: 1. Participants learn how to use their creativity to their advantage. 2. Participants learn how to better express their own ideas and plans. 3. Participants are challenged to create strategies and think more in

the future not only at the present time.

Sessions: The world I want - In this session the participants are given the task to

create the world they would want to live in, if everything would be possible. They are given different materials with which they can draw what they envision. Afterwards, the trainers will ask them to put their vision in the context of this world we live in now, and ask them to identify 3 things they will do to achieve that vision.

Session Objectives: Participants start thinking activel about what they want from

their environment. They are challenged to think within certain guidelines and

adapt their ideas to uncontrolable factors. They are encouraged to put into practice what they envision.

My hero - The participants are challenged to create their own super hero identity. They are given materilas with which to create their logo, their name, mask, even cape. Afterwards, they will have to think about their superpower and what they want to do with their superpowers. The trainers will connect that with what they can do outside of the classroom.

Session Objectives: Participants can create their own version of a role model,

something to asire to for themselves. Participants understand that using their creativity and

smarts, can help them to become better people.

Objectives: 1. Participants understand that each of them is responsible to make

the world a better and healthier place.

2. Participants gain the knowledge of what to do to be healthier.

3. Participants practice environmental friendlines and gain knowledge about what to do to be environmentaly friendly.

Sessions: Our Earth - In this session the trainers explain everything that we

benefit from the earth and the wildlife. How we, as humnas live on earth and what we need.

Session Objectives:

Participants understand what the environment means and why it is important to us.

Participants gain awareness about how we are affecting the environment.

Green Fingers - In this session, the participants, with the help of the trainers, work to trasnform their classroom into a friendlier place for the environment: recycling, saving energy, using tips and tricks that the participants can then take home.

Session Objectives: Participants change their own classroom to help the environment more. They understand that with a little creativity it can be fun to make a difference. They gain tips and tricks on how to make a space more environmentally friendly.

When I grow up - This session wil be focused showing the participants what a healthy lifestyle helps with and why they should want and have a healthy lifestyle. To keep it engaging, the trainers will do different exercises and show different videos of the effects of a healthy lifestyle vs a non-healthy lifestyle.

Session Objectives: Participants learn why it is important to care about their health. They receive tips on how to keep active and feel better.

1)Lumea din jurul meu

In jurul lumii in 80 de minute : internaționalii își vor prezenta țara de proveniență;

Culture Clash : internationalii vor evidenția diferențele dintre România și țara lor prin

prezentarea diferitelor jocuri și a bucătăriei tradiționale, la rândul lor copiii vor da

exemple de jocuri si mâncare tradițională din România;

Ce e bine si ce nu : această sesiune îi va învăța pe copii cum să se comporte la

interacțiunea cu diferite culturi ;

2)Eu si altii

Zgarie-nori : participanții vor fi separați în grupuri și vor construi un zgârie-nori;

Să vorbim : dezvoltarea comunicării;

3)Ideile mele

Lumea pe care o vreau : participanții își vor creea lumea în care ar vrea să trăiască, dacă

totul este posibil;

Eroul meu: participanții își vor creea identitatea proprie de super-erou;

4)Responsabilitatile mele

Pământul nostrum : în această sesiune internaționalii vor prezenta resursele Pământului,

cum trăim noi pe această planetă și de ce avem nevoie;

Degetele verzi : participanții își vor transforma clasa într-un loc mai primitor pentru

mediu: reciclare, salvarea energiei, etc.;

Când o sa fiu mare: această sesiune le va arăta participanților cum ajută un mod de viață

sănatos și de ce ar trebui să aibă un astfel de stil de viață ;
